Skład izotopowy chityny bezkręgowców wodnych jako narzędzie do określenia procesów mających wpływ na ekosystemy jezior górskich
Stable isotopes in invertebrate chitin as a tool to identify processes affecting mountain lake ecosystems
The project is the first attempt to use stable isotopes to identify factors influencing the Tatra lakes in the past with detailed look inside evolution of their food webs and relations between biotic and abiotic components of these ecosystem. The data collected and calculated models will help to evaluate how much recently observed changes in lake ecosystems have been induced by human activity. These data can be used for future environmental management and decisions making in the national park and local and state government.
