The laboratory is equipped with the Nikon Eclipse E 600 optical microscope (reflected and transmitted light). The microscope has a drawing adapter digitizing tablet and a two-axis table by Kinetek, compatible with the FT Stage 4.04 software ( Dumitru, 1993 ). Data processing is carried out using the Trackkey 4.2g program ( I. Dunkl, 2002 ). FT ages are determined by the external detector method with reference to an analyst-specific zeta calibration factor determined by multiple analyses of mineral age standards. Uranium maps of sample grain mounts are produced by irradiation at the TRIGA reactor (Oregon State University, USA). Modeling of the thermal history is carried out on the basis of the HeFTy program ( Richard A. Ketcham, 2017 ).
