| The thematic scope of the library's collections contain such basic fields of geology as: sedimentology, stratigraphy and paleontology, tectonics, mineralogy and petrography, and regional geology of the World. The library's collections swelled to over 120 000 volumes (as at date 31.12.2015), we want to list approximately :
In 2015, there was carried on an exchange of magazines between the library and 15 foreign and 5 national partners. In library's collections could be find very outstanding documents. The library has a unique 19-century collection of works acquired from the Board of Physiographic Academy of Skills. The catalogue of the library is computerized in MICRO-ISIS, with the exception of monographs written in Russian. |
