Research conducted at Wroclaw Research Centre focuses on reconstructions of geological processes occurring in terrestrial and extraterrestrial rocks. We analyze the magmatic and metamorphic history, as well as ore-forming processes, in rocks from Europe, Asia, South America, the Pacific, the Atlantic, and the Indian Ocean. Our scientific interests also include the study of extraterrestrial rocks, specifically lunar and Martian, based on meteorite analyses and remote sensing data. In addition, we carry out detailed geological investigations into the effects of small meteorite impacts on the Earth's surface, as well as we contribute to planning space missions. In our spare time we actively participate in outreach activities: : we engage in the popularization of scientific knowledge by delivering lectures, giving interviews on radio, television, and other media platforms, as well as organizing interactive workshops at popular science festivals.
